Grilled Sausage Salad
 
   
 
 
 
 
40 oz FUD Smoked Grilling Sausage (whole package)
4 heads of iceberg lettuce (cut in half, lengthwise)
1 cup olive oil
1 cup FUD Muenster Cheese (shredded)
Salt (to taste)
Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
 

 
 

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If you don’t have a grill, you can use a large skillet.

With your fingers or a cooking brush, lightly grease the inside of each lettuce half; season to taste with salt and pepper.

Slice the FUD Smoked Grilling Sausage and place it on the grill until hot.

Place the lettuce halves on the hot grill with oiled side facing down; lightly grill the lettuce until slightly crispy. Remove the lettuce from the grill and place on a serving plate, add the shredded FUD Muenster Cheese and grilled sausage slices.

Serve the salad with some pico de gallo and a dressing of your choice.
