Jarocho Ham Fajitas
 
   
 
 
 6 slices of FUD Original Cooked Ham (½-inch thick, cut into strips) 1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 ripe tomatoes (diced) 3 tbsp olive oil
1 yellow onion (diced) 1 cup chicken broth
1 cup tomato paste Güeros chilies (to taste)
4 oz pitted green olives (with juice) Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
2 bay leaves Salt (to taste)
1 yellow, orange, or red bell pepper (whichever color you prefer, julienne cut) Oregano (to taste)
2 garlic cloves   

 
 

In a large, preheated skillet, add the olive oil, onion, garlic, peppers, and butter.

Cook on high for 3 minutes, then add the tomato paste and chicken broth; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Once boiling, add the olives with a little juice, bay leaves, oregano, and güeros chilies; simmer for a few minutes, then turn off the heat. Finally, add the tomatoes then set aside.

In another pan, add some olive oil, then place the FUD Original Cooked Ham slices; once both sides are slightly brown, add the jarocha sauce and cook until the sauce is hot.
