"Viva Mexico" Stuffed Peppers
 
   
 
 
 
  ½ lb. FUD SELECTO COOKED HAM
  6 roasted, peeled poblano peppers
  1 small onion, chopped
  2 garlic cloves, chopped
  ½ cup of raisins
 

¾ of chopped nuts

 

2 tbs. of chopped parsley

  Olive oil
  Salt and pepper
NUT SAUCE
  4 oz. of FUD NATURAL SOUR CREAM
  ¾ cup of thick sour cream
  1 lb. of fresh nuts
  1 tbs. of sugar
  Salt
TO DECORATE
  3 fresh pomegranates, peeled
  6 fresh parsley leaves
 
 

Chop the FUD SELECTO COOKED HAM and reserve. Place oil in a skillet, add the onion, garlic and rest of the ingredients. Mix well, season and set aside.

Open the peppers, eliminate the seeds and wash them well.

Liquefy all the ingredients of the nut sauce until you get a thick sauce, refrigerate.

Stuff the peppers with the ham mixture. Place them in a plate, cover them with the nut sauce and garnish with the pomegranate.
