- Similar to farmer’s cheese but with stronger tangy fl avor, our authentic Mexican-style crumbling cheese enhances everything from salads and tamales to tacos and enchiladas.
- Use our traditional queso fresco as a substitute for any recipes calling for goat cheese, feta or ricotta.
- Sometimes called Queso de Pueblo or Queso Blanco, in Mexico it is sometimes sold in wrapped banana leaves.
- Easily crumble queso fresco by putting a slab of the cheese in a sealed bag and massage the bag until it is crumbly. Another way is to gently break off pieces of the cheese with a fork.
